This video is about everything that was going on the day I walked the length of Venice beach. I tried to stick on the beach side and avoid the boardwalk because everybody seemed much more casual. I filmed the whole thing hand held with my 70-200mm mkii and a Z-finder.

Coastal erosion at Birling gap has already removed some of the row of fishing cottages built in 1878, and those that remain are derelict and mostly uninhabited. Bits of pipes and other building pieces stick out of the cliffs .

I went to Clevedon sea front one day to try and do a time-lapse on the pier. However when I got to the pier they noticed my tripod and alerted me to the special tripod tax of £50!!! Needless to say I walked down the beach and got some shots from free vantage points.

Whilst walking back to the apartment in Venice one night I shot a load of defocused footage looking into the sunset. I liked how the objects in the foreground created patterns in the Bokeh. The video was graded with MBL in AE.
